Hello, Spring!!!!

Well, Spring is here. Hurray!!! Winter has not been too bad here in Cornwall. Its been very mild. No snow to speak of. No need for salt. It did get cold a few times. But these spells did not last. I guess the biggest problem was a lack of rain. And well we have a dry summer?

Today it is overcast. But, no rain forecast.

Hay!!! 4 Ohio teams in the Sweet 16...Sweet. Bet this doesn't happen to often. Can't wait for the weekend.

And the opening game of baseball from Japan. Can regular season games be played there before long? We already have an NFL game played in London. With serious talk of playing two games a season here.

Hello there !!!

Hi! I am Jane Buchmann-Phillips. I was born in Wellsville, Ohio on June 21, 1952. My parents were Sally and James Buchmann. I have an older brother, James, Jr., who now lives in Boardman, Youngstown, Ohio. And, a younger sister who lives in a small village near Wellsville.

I now live in the county of Cornwall in the United Kingdom. In 1998 I married Michael Phillips and moved here. My blog will deal with living in Cornwall and my seeing what is going on back home in good old Wellsville.

Today it is most cloudy here. A little coolest but nice. I just finished letting my ten accorded chickens out of their coop. I will post pictures of them. I have a dog named Sparkie, or Sparky. He is a rehomed dog with problems. Mainly caused by his former owers. He is around 11. Right now he on the padio enjoy the sun.

I enjoy American football, baseball, some basketball. Mainly March Maddness. I have fallen in love with rugby and cricket since moving here.  I am hooked on the online game World of Warcraft. Like reading. Science fiction and fanasy. Comic books. I love history, especially naval history. This is how Mike and I met. Through our love of naval history.
